On Mealprep Sunday I prepare my lunch for the next five days (Monday – Friday) and share the recipes with you. These meals are eaten to achieve 2.000 Kcal a day with 50% from protein and 25% from fats/carbs respectively.
So last week, we changed it up a bit and made fish! So this time around we’re keeping it fresh with a ketogenic approach! It’s time for meat balls… with cheese! It’s pretty simple to make, but takes a bit of time. I’m also now including pricing!
Nutritional information (per portion):
78 g protein
5 g carbohydrates
40 g fats
1600 g low fat mixed hash – 7,96 €
500 g mushrooms – 1,00 €
500 g sieved tomatoes – 0,35 €
200 g shredded low fat cheese – 1,09 €
5 ml olive oil
Spices as needed (I don’t use any this time, but salt/pepper and oregano are good fits)

To make it, you should first prepare a baking plate with baking paper. Then take about 40 g of meat and mush it together forming a “mini pizza”. Place 5 g of cheese on the meat and fold it. Press it together with your hands and roll it a bit. Place the finished balls on the tray like this.
Put the tray in the oven (pre-heated to 180° C, circulating air). Then, heat the olive oil in a pan and roast the mushrooms. The meat balls need about 15 – 20 minutes. Serve with the sieved tomatoes as sauce. Done!
